Our focus is Germany, Europe’s largest market and an industrial powerhouse facing the huge challenge to decarbonise while remaining globally competitive.

The path to affordable green energy requires massive investments in solar and wind energy, which are already well underway. Storage technologies - batteries, hydrogen, thermal storage – are essential to deliver “baseload” (always on, stable) delivery of that renewable, “green” energy, making maximum use of solar and wind assets. This is the basis of competitive green energy.

BaseGreen was founded in 2024 to acquire, develop and operate green energy storage sites, involving scale deployments of grid batteries as well as green hydrogen/derivative production depending on location and demand. Our team combines expertise from the green energy and financial sectors with the passion to build a sustainable and successful business. Our focus is customer first, building the right technical solutions to serve industrial users. We work with local communities, major suppliers and global investment funds to secure our first projects and scale up our business.

Recently the energy transition has faced political and economic challenges, globally and in Germany. We aren’t losing faith, but we adapt our strategy to reflect changing times.
